ČSAD STTRANS, joint-stock company Strakonice takes up an 80-year-long tradition of road transport business in the region (in-and-around) of the town of Strakonice in Southern Bohemia.
Modern history of the company started in 1999. In that year, the Association of towns and villages in the region of the town of Strakonice and ČSAD České Budějovice established a division in Strakonice with the intention to privatise a state company ČSAD České Budějovice. Each of establishing members holds 50 % of shares in the new company. This company took over the state company on 1st July 2001 - including its property, employees, obligations and demands.
ČSAD STTRANS deals with traditional lines of road transport business, especially such as public road transport (regular and irregular), road haulage (inland and international), repair service, dispatch service and many other supplementary services.
Nowadays, ČSAD STTRANS, joint-stock company, work with 78 trucks. All of them are supposed to deal with international transport with maximum load of 25 tons and capacity of 120 cubic metres (loading capacity height - 3 metres).
From that:

- semitrailers unit - typ JUMBO (120m3)
- semitrailers with capacity 85m3
- MANs for 15 pallets
All drivers of international transport trucks are equipped with mobile phones. In this way clients can be informed about their transports 24 hours a day. All the trucks are monitored by satelite navigation "Echo Truck" in the process of transport. This way allows truck´s monitoring during transport, permanent contact with drivers and information for customers about process of transport. All vehicles supposed for international transport are insured to the amount of 335 000,- EURO (that is 10 million Czech crowns).
All vehicles satisfies international regulations EURO 1, EURO 2 a EURO 3. Thus they categorizes among so-called „green“ and „super green“ vehicles. Therefore they have permits to all European countries, including CEMT permit. (This one enables transportations in EU countries). The convincing proof of our quality services is the fact that we provide our transport of goods for companies operating in car industry (e.g. DURA,SPEDITION FEICO, AVIRUNION, VAUXHALL MOTORS, ASCI, TRW, LYCKEBY AMYLEX).
